Every year many young people between the ages of 14 and 18 from all over Europe and across the world enrol on summer school courses throughout Ireland in order to improve their English as well as get a taste of Irish life and all it has to offer...

Atlantic Language Galway is situated in the heart of Galway and offers a range of short language courses, including seasonal courses over summer, winter, autumn and spring school vacations. The intensive English course teaches the core language skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking and the course puts a strong emphasis on a communicative approach to learning. The courses consist of 20 hours of general tuition per week with classes commencing at 9am and finishing at 12.30pm Monday to Friday. The level of courses on offer ranges from elementary to advanced and boast high standards of academic quality with students coming from all over the world.

Dun Laoghaire Tuition Centre (DLTC) runs English language courses during the summer for foreign students aged between 12 and 17 years of age. The courses take place between 30th June and 2nd August this year with classes commencing at 9am and finishing at 12.30pm Monday to Friday. Accommodation is included in the price of the course.

Annalivia School of Languages runs courses for foreign junior students wishing to improve their English. Courses comprise 15 hours of tuition per week.

ATC Language & Travel is the largest provider of summer schools teaching English to foreign students between the ages of 10 and 17 in Ireland and has the experience of having run these courses over 35 years in several centres across the country. Students have a choice of 2, 3 or 4-week courses as well as the location in which they choose to stay as ATC Language & Travel have a variety of centres throughout Ireland. Tuition comprises 15 hours per week with classes on Mondays to Fridays inclusive.

International Study Centre (ISC) Dublin is a fully accredited English language school which runs English language learning summer programmes from June to August catering for all levels – from beginner to advanced. DCU runs a one-week English Fluency Development (pre-intermediate to advanced level) course for foreign students during the winter, summer, autumn and spring vacations.
